[ The text Sasuke gets from Masamune is kinda random, but it's not really anything new coming from the baseball player. Come over to Kaname's and plan to be busy for a few hours, if not the rest of the night.

But the dress nice request attached to it? Sasuke doesn't exactly know what to make of that. He comes wearing a wide-neck t-shirt and a simple pair of long pants, nothing that would be out of place for daily wear. He also brings his schoolbag because he assumes it's going to be a impromptu math study session or problem solving one of the Date books that isn't making any sense.

Let's be real, if Sasuke had any idea of what Masamune had planned, he might not have shown up at all. Although, given recent in-person and not-in-person interactions, Sasuke probably should be have questioned the motivation behind such an invitation. ]

Yeah, your good clothes. Didn't that text go through? Whatever, c'mon.

[He clicks his tongue in annoyance and steps back from the door, gesturing for Sasuke to follow him in. Shoes off, and into the bedroom without a second thought about any implications.

It's a good thing that Kaname's home is pretty much Masamune's as well, because it means all of his much cooler clothes are already here. How lucky it is that Sasuke is of a similarly slender build... although it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be able to pull the punk look off at all. But there's no way anybody's going to want to hit on the most boring-looking guy in the club.]

That still doesn't tell me anything.

[ Sasuke grumbles, but he comes in all the same. Shoes are left at the door. He follows without really thinking until he reaches the bedroom. Now, he's realizing some of those implications.

Augh! Don't overthink it! Remember where it got him last time? Just be cool.... ]

So... we're studying in here tonight?

[ Nailed it. ]

Ugh! As if!

[Masamune pauses with his hand on a dresser drawer. Oh yeah, that kind of is the only reason Sasuke ever comes over... Sure, sometimes they might shoot the shit afterwards or hang out if they happen to cross paths elsewhere, but this must be the first time Masamune's ever summoned him to go out. On a bro-date. As JUST FRIENDS.

Still crazy to think they reached the friendzone at all.

He yanks the drawer open and begins tossing a few neatly rolled items onto the bed: shirts with band names or nonsensical english on them, polka-dotted tanks, patterned outerwear, a lacy blue man bra(???), fashionably torn or studded jeans... His wardrobe definitely leans toward being both gaudy and functional in case of impromptu competitions.

As the clothing piles up:]

Studying's boring. We're going to go out and have some fun for once, so you better dress like someone who even knows how.

Oh.

[ Even after Masamune says so, it still takes Sasuke a moment for the realization to sink in. He rarely gets invited to fun outings that aren't to hang at some food place. And he never thought that Masamune would be inviting him to one. Masamune would surely rather invite someone else, right? No, Masamune is serious. He wants to go out with him tonight.

Sasuke watches as the pile of clothes grows and grows. (He sees that bra and wonders for a moment if some of Kaname's stuff got mixed in there. He hasn't forgotten the time she made him dress up as a girl as part of having lost a bet.) ]

Am I going to be allowed to pick, or am I not going to have much of a say?

[ He sets down his bag, not needing it for tonight and comes towards the bed. What would he even pick? ]

[Hold on, let him add just oooone more shirt, and- done. There's no physically possible way for so many clothes to have been crammed into a single drawer. He sweeps an arm out to present them with a little more pizazz.]

Go crazy! I already know all my clothes look good.

[ That one drawer had more clothes than Sasuke owns, and that includes the few emergency women't clothing for when he randomly changes into a girl....

Sasuke starts to dig through the hoard of clothing, pulling out possibilities and setting aside definite nos. He eventually settles on a tight black shirt to wear under a blue shirt with cuts in it. He'll choose a pair of black jeans that have a few fashionable tears. Sasuke has no idea how he'll look in blue, but well, it's not as extreme as some of the other potential outfits he could make.

He lays it out on the bed and awaits Masamune's approval. (Accessories will be on Masamune because Sasuke will try to just wear his headband and shippy bracelets if left to his own devices.) ]

[And approve he does! He looks between Sasuke and the outfit laid out, trying to picture it on him. Trying not to think about taking them back off.]

Alright, not bad at all... Just needs a couple of finishing touches.

[Nothing wrong with shippy wrist decor, as far as Masamune's concerned. But the headband... hmm. It's not totally lame on its own, but it is such a definitive piece of Sasuke's everyday attire that it has to go. A simple elastic for a semi-ponytail will be just fine.

What else...

His gaze drifts to the side for a moment while he thinks, and then he very decisively opens another drawer. Is it a little goofy-looking to wear shades over an eyepatch? Absolutely. Does that stop Masamune? Ooof course not. Most of the huge, dark lenses are for Ryuuko anyway, so his eyepatch isn't even an issue.

And then there are the metallic gold shuttershades he pulls out, and there's no excuse for that shit. He grins and sets them over the shirt.]

Perfect. Let's see how you work it.

[ Sasuke is not sure about those shutter shades at all. He sets them to the side with a shake of his head. Maybe he'll humor Masamune and try them on, but those are things are a crime. Although Masamune has the right idea to turn the moe into a megane.

Well, time to see how close they are in sizes. Sasuke reaches for the hem of his shirt and pulls it off right in front of Masamune like they were in the lockers together. The black shirt is thinner than he thought, but he manages to put it on fine. It's tight too, like a fictional silent ninja character's outfit showing off abs which could grate cheese. Except, Sasuke doesn't have abs like those. He is a twig.

The blue shirt goes over it easily and thankfully helps him be less self conscious of his twig build. ]

I'm not sure.... Does blue even work on me?

[ He has bright orange hair. They're complimentary colors. That has to be some kind of fashion no. So are green and red, Sasuke. What's the problem? ]

[It's not like he watches Sasuke on purpose or anything! It's just that Masamune happens to be facing that direction, and again, he dealt with this all the time in the locker room without thinking anything of it.

Back then he would have watched without wanting to reach out and run his fingers over the little ridges of Sasuke's ribs and hips, or fixate on the way the tight shirt lifts just enough for a brief flash of skin before the second layer hides it again.

Masamune licks his lips unconsciously.]

Hahah, yeah, well. It's hardly fair to use me for a reference point... But you don't look bad. Maybe you got the potential to be hot stuff after all.

I'll take not looking bad. It's not like anyone's going to be looking at me between the two of us.

[ Yeah, Sasuke knows he'll be in Masamune's shadow wherever they are going, but it's fine. It's nothing new. Maybe only in the sense of whose shadow he's in. But Masamune licking his lips like that has Sasuke feeling unexpectedly warm. Don't comment on it. Don't think too much of it.

Well, time to go for the whole outfit now if the shirt combination got an approval from Masamune. Sasuke goes to try on those black jeans with the fashionable tears in him. He starts to undo his belt, unfasten his fly, and pull his pants down to reveal plain green boxers. As he starts to put on the jeans, Sasuke has to wonder and hope that the tears don't reveal too much. He hates being cold. ]

... Are all your party clothes so... form fitting?

[ Because these jeans fit snug (though not in a way that restricts movement) and oh... he didn't realize how low of a waist it had. There's a nice line of pale skin visible between the shirt hem and the jean waistband. One also can't forget the fashionable tears revealing more skin or bit of green boxers. ]

I-I think I need to find a different pair of pants.

[ Does he though? ]

[Form fitting... Truth be told, most of his street clothes are slightly looser on Masamune, at least in the shoulder area. And they feel longer on him, too. He can't believe this. What's a guy gotta do to bulk up already?!

More importantly-]

If I gotta watch you take those off we might never get out of here.

[ A tiny Moesuke's still manages to be bigger than a Masamini. He tugs on the shirt a little, hoping it'd cover that gap to no avail. He sighs and then looks at Masamune. He'll just have to get used to it... hopefully.

Sasuke folds up his clothes and places them with his school bag. He also takes out his wallet, figuring he still might need that. ]

So, I guess this is what I'm wearing to... wherever we are actually going.

[ Out and have fun could still be a number of things. ]

That's right. We're going out for a night on the town in the best damn party district in town! Drinking, dancing... all that crap.

[Way to really sell it. But he looks proud of himself, for SOME reason, as he puts a hand to Sasuke's back to try to usher him towards the door. They've wasted enough time, already!]

[ Masamune won't have to push him too hard to move forward. They make it to the front door, and Sasuke even puts on his shoes without a fuss. It's so strange. Sasuke could be a party type, but he developed a lazy, easy-going nature instead. As such, he's out of his element with this idea.

Yet... maybe it wouldn't be too bad to experience something new. It could give him another viewpoint on life, being in the shadow of someone else for a change. ]
